Eye Testing Clinic

We provide a thorough Visual Acuity Test done by professional Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. The vision for near and distance is tested and if found deficient, you’ll be prescribed corrective glasses or contact lenses. Regular Eye testing give us a chance to help you with vision corrections or adapt to the vision changes. The recommended frequency of eye check-up is 6 months for people with prescribed glasses whereas 1 year for people with no complaints of vision. As a thumb of rule, you should get your vision tested more frequently if you are prescribed glasses or you have a family history of loss of vision or eye diseases. Also, people suffering from diseases such as diabetes are at a greater risk of eye diseases.

Contact Lens Clinic

Contact lenses are an excellent choice for everyone who requires vision correction but doesn't want to wear eyeglasses. We deal in following types of contact lenses:

  • Soft Contact Lenses
  • Toric Contact Lenses
  • Multi-focal Contact Lenses
  • Cosmetic Contact Lenses
  • RGP Lenses
  • Prosthetic Contact Lenses
  • Scleral Lenses and Rose K2 Lenses

Prescription Eye Glasses

We provide all types of prescription eyeglasses for addressing all your visual needs like:

  • Single Vision Lenses for correcting single vision problems such as farsightedness, near-sightedness and astigmatism. These provide same vision correction throughout the entire lens.
  • Bifocal Lenses that contain two prescriptions within the same lens. The area of lens is split into two sections where the upper part provides correction for distance vision while the lower part provides for near vision.
  • Progressive Lenses prescribed for people suffering with more than one vision problem. It contains three main fields of vision including near, intermediate and distance for providing the wearer a seamless and uninterrupted transition when looking from up-close objects to far-away distance.
  • Computer Glasses prescribed for reducing the eyestrain caused by computer screens. These are specifically designed to prevent eye-sight issues caused due exposure of blue light emitted from mostly all digital devices that we use these days. Computer glasses reduce the exposure to this blue light and protect your vision.
  • Reading Glasses prescribed for near-sightedness. These are prescribed after age of 40 for visual changes that occur with age even for people who never required eyeglasses before.

Sunglasses

Wearing sunglasses that have UV protection can help protect against certain eye disease like cataract, macular degeneration and pterygium. In addition, wearing sunglasses helps you to see better in bright light and makes you look stylish at the same time.

Low Vision Aids

At Zen Opticians we provide Low Vision Aids for people with poor vision i.e., people who are unable to see objects beyond 3m even with their spectacles with necessary correction on. Fortunately, Low Vision Aids can help such people to regain their independence and perform everyday tasks.
